Cocopeat is a natural fibre made from coconut husks. The coconut palm ( Cocos nucifera) grows extensively throughout the tropics and sub-tropics, and is frequently referred to as the "Tree of Life" for it's multitude of uses - food, oil, firewood from the husk and shell, thatching, baskets, charcoal and palm toddy.
